Needless to say the JASNA-Atlanta members and volunteers are excited as are the two dozen authors who will be participating with us. Sixteen authors will be on hand to autograph their books and to speak at intervals during the day (we have a relatively large space for this - 3 tents!). Eleven other authors are sending us a supply of their works for sale as well.
This year is a good one for Atlanta's local authors at DBF. The keynote speaker is pulitzer prize-winning poet Natasha Trethewey of Emory University. One of our non-fiction authors is Professor Laura Dabundo of Kennesaw State University. Local author Barbara Tiller Cole is well-known in the Jane Austen Fan Fiction world and is a key member of our DBF committee.
