Life-long friends of the Austens

The Atlanta Region enjoyed our meeting with the JASNA president.  We toured the beautifully restored Ivy Hall in the first part of the meeting.  The Savannah College of Art and Design graciously hosted our meeting in this wonderful facility that they use as their Writing Center and as a venue for public events such as ours. Several members brought tea and desserts which we enjoyed during our breaks.

About the Speaker
Iris Lutz came to us from Tuscan where she has been a long time member of the Southern Arizona Region of JASNA, home of the 2006 AGM.  She is the current president of the national organization.  Iris has traveled extensively to Jane Austen sites in England and to JASNA regions around our country.  We benefitted from her feedback and advice as she met with our region's officers throughout the weekend.

Welcome to the Atlanta Region of JASNA!

Our members meet regularly throughout the year to enjoy lectures, attend events, and discuss the works, life, and times of Jane Austen (1775-1817). We meet on the weekends so that people living farther out from the city will be able to attend more easily. We hope you will join us! info@JasnaAtlanta.org.
